Nayra Sanz, the filmmaker invited to make a new film produced by the festival, presents the results of her residency at the Huarte Centre, where she has been preparing the film that will make its debut at Punto de Vista in 2027, as well as offering a session presenting her previous work. Also featured is the premiere of the project developed in 2025 and 2026, Gaulana, by Pablo Casanueva.
Light pollution grows alongside capitalism. While the world is illuminated in the name of security, darkness shelters those who flee. Gaulana portrays those who crossed, and those who still cross, the border at night — prisoners from Ezkaba, Portuguese people, and migrants from the Bidasoa, seeking refuge in the dark.
