Workshop for children at Civivox (6-12 years old)

Fantastic Objects

Hands-on workshop where we will build a Toupi Fantoche, a pre-cinema device that animates four images using mirrors, and a mini multiplane to create depth. We will produce animations with magazines and drawings. Designs by Tekno Fantasy, which will provide the materials.

Cameraless animation

During the workshop, we will experiment with creating our own cameraless animations by drawing directly onto 16 mm film. Focusing on experimental cameraless animation techniques, we will directly manipulate the film stock byscratching, piercing, and painting it.

In addition, we will discover how sound can be drawn onto film, without the need for instruments or recorders.
