NewYork filmmaker Benita Raphan, who had explored the relationship between mental health, innovation, and creativity in her short films, took her own life during the COVID pandemic. Alan Berliner crafts a beautiful tribute — a portrait of a filmmaker made by a filmmaker, a film about filmmaking.

In this session, Celia Viada Caso will present the creative process behind the film Volver a casa tan tarde —2025—, the festival’s “X Films” project in 2025, applying an art-based research approach that brings together everything from the initial ideas to the resonances beyond the film itself.
