Conversations and dialogues about cinema from the past, present, and future. A meeting with three former artistic directors of the festival —Josetxo Cerdán, Oskar Alegría, and Manuel Asín— and journalist Elsa Fernández-Santos, an illustrated lecture to explore the work and figure of filmmaker Mirentxu Loyarte —1938–2025—, and the professional meetings of Napardocs and DokLab.
Dialogue: The Future of Cinematography. Mutations and Persistences.
In the two decades of its existence, Punto de Vista has witnessed an enormous, historic upheaval in cinema. A transformation driven by an unprecedented technological revolution, whose horizon is now complex to define. Together with three of Punto de Vista’s artistic directors —Josetxo Cerdán, 2010-2013; Oskar Alegría, 2015-2017; and Manuel Asín, 2022-2025— we will explore key questions about the future of cinema in the age of audiovisual abundance, the importance of its legacy, and the possible paths forward for an art form at a crossroads.

Napardocs
Punto de Vista and NAPAR, the association of Navarre’s audiovisual producers, strengthen their cooperation by holding three round-table discussions: one about Creation, a second one about Production and a third one to discuss Distribution. Both members of NAPAR and attendees with credentials are welcome to participate in them, as they are meant to serve as a meeting point for authors, producers from Navarre, film-makers and festival guests.
