Punto de Vista, guest festival in 2025 in the European network of festivals Doc Alliance
Seven of Europe's most prestigious documentary festivals form the network and Punto de Vista becomes its third guest festival
Artist Iñaki Garmendia to play a leading role in the Contacts section of Punto de Vista, in which documentary film rubs shoulders with other disciplines
The programme, inspired by his exhibition devoted at the Oteiza museum, will also include a conversation between Garmendia and Antonio Menchen and an installation in the Ciudadela de Pamplona
Cyril Neyrat, Boris Nelepo and Mònica Rovira make up the International Jury for the Official Selection at Punto de Vista
After viewing all the films during the festival, they will award the Grand Prize for Best Film, the Jean Vigo prize for Best Director and the prize for Best Short Film at the closing ceremony, to be held on Saturday 1st March.
The Punto de Vista festival announces its Official Selection, made up of seventeen films from thirteen countries, as well as its opening and closing sessions.
The opening and closing of the festival will feature Tent City by Miñuca Villaverde and Sepio by Frans van de Staak, respectively
This year nearly 900 films were entered, among them the ten features and seven shorts that will eventually take away the festival prizes.
